For eco-responsible beauty.

Our goal: to combine responsible beauty gestures with a strong commitment to the design of our products. This is illustrated with our new cleansers and make-up removers.

Our formulas have been developed in compliance with our eco-design charter. We are attentive to the ingredients that make up our formulas. We select the right ingredients (no superfluous), the most virtuous by favouring a responsible and sustainable supply. We favour processes for obtaining our most “clean & green” ingredients to limit our environmental impact. Thanks to the know-how of our formulators, each ingredient is assembled, at the right dose, to meet the needs of our consumers’ skin. A constant search for the perfect balance between efficiency, sensoriality, tolerance and accessibility.

Range after range, our Botanical Beauty® formulators challenge their knowledge to maximize the share of ingredients of natural origin in our formulas for the same level of effectiveness, comfort and safety. Thus, we are proud to be able to say that the products of this new range have a naturalness greater than 94%.

A more responsible beauty takes into account the future of the product after its use. The notion of biodegradability is very important in this sense. This means selecting the right, easily biodegradable ingredients to limit the impact on water and the environment.

In this sense, we evaluate the biodegradability of each of our ingredients and of all our rinse-off formulas. Thus, all the rinse-off formulas in this new range have a biodegradability rate of over 96%!

For us, beauty is not just about naturalness or transparency. At Yves Rocher we see cosmetics as a vector of our values and our connection with nature.

Demanding and rigorous, the Yves Rocher teams uncompromisingly ensure the traceability, safety and responsible management of the Sectors, around 3 commitments:

– Sourcing sustainably: Chamomile, Cornflower, Calendula and Peppermint have been grown for many years on our land of origin, in La Gacilly. As for the micro-algae Tetraselmis, it comes from a marine plant industry, off the Gulf of Morbihan.

– Protecting plants: At La Gacilly, these 4 emblematic plants are grown in agroecology, reclaiming the fundamentals of Organic Farming, in symbiosis with biodiversity and the territory. The Tetraselmis micro-algae is responsibly grown in photobioreactors with control of the culture parameters.

– Respect nature: the periods and methods of cultivation and then harvesting, for our emblematic plants, as well as the methods of multiplication of micro-algae, have been carefully selected and defined by our Experts in Botanical Beauty® Research in order to obtain an optimal content of active ingredients while respecting biodiversity and the environment.
