Christmas Recipe
Here is a recipe for Christmas turkey roasted in the oven for about 3:30. Unmissable meat for your festive meal.
Ingredients
- 1 turkey, gutted with the liver
- 150 g of chicken livers
- 100 g of drained chestnuts
- 1 small apple
- 2 slices of sandwich bread
- 10 cl of milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 bouquet garni
- 50 cl of chicken broth
- 50 g of butter
- salt pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C
- Bring the broth to a boil and put it in a large bowl and marinate the turkey for 30 minutes.
- Cut the chicken and turkey livers into small cubes
- Melt 20 g of butter in a sauté pan and add the livers. Cook for 5 min, stirring constantly.
- Slice the chestnuts into quarters. Peel the apple, onion, and garlic and cut them into small pieces. Incorporate the meat.
- Dip the sandwich breads in the milk and crush them. Add the eggs and incorporate into the preparation. Season and mix the preparation for a long time with your fingers.
- Drain and garnish the turkey, then sew the openings with kitchen thread. Place it in a heat-resistant dish.
- Drizzle the turkey with the rest of the previously melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Put in the oven for 1 hour 30 minutes and sprinkle the turkey regularly with the cooking juices.
- Turn the turkey halfway through cooking.
- Serve hot with vegetables, fries, mash and anything you like
